Henry C Hitch Feedyard
Hitch I
Hitch II
We work with TCFA to represent cattle feedlots in Texas, Oklahoma, and New Mexico. In addition, it often represents our customers and associated industries.

We proudly sponsor the NCBA's efforts.
About Us
Hitch built its first feedyard in 1956. It was a very small operation on the north edge of the ranch property. This first taste of modern concentrated animal feeding helped convince HC Hitch, Sr. that his son was on to something. They invested in several other feedyards in the area and ended up owning two additional yards in the region after buying out their partners. The original yard is called Henry C. Hitch Feedyard in honor of HC Hitch, Sr. and the other two yards are named Hitch I and Hitch II.
Services We Offer
All of our feedyards offer custom feeding of cattle for slaughter. Each feedyard is individually managed and has its own personality and consequently clientelle. Our pen sizes range from 70 head up to 250 head. At anytime we might have a mix of breeds and origins in each yard. We feed a complex ration that can include:
High-moisture corn, dry corn, grain sorphum (milo), wheat, hay, corn silage, and distillers dry grains
Consolidated Beef Producers
We currently market our cattle through a marketing cooperative that acts
as a consolidator and intermediary between the feedyards and the packers.
This frees up our personnel to spend more time managing your cattle and get
the cattle marketed in a very professional manner.
